Machine Learning Engineer
Oracle Labs, Zurich
Feb 2022 - present
I am a research engineer in Keybridge team at Oracle Labs. KeyBridge is a multi-disciplinary project using expertise from systems-programming, data visualization and machine learning in order to understand massive streams of data.
I conducted research on representation learning for logs using NLP approaches, leading to significant advancements. I successfully filed four patents and achieved a remarkable 70% improvement in model performance through dedicated research efforts.
Additionally, I developed custom helm charts for seamless deployment of proprietary solutions on OCI, while optimizing data pipelines using the OCI Data Science service for efficient operations.
Machine Learning Engineer
Barix AG, Zurich
May 2019 - Jan 2022
BARIX is an Audio over IP company. During my tenure, I created an efficient anomaly detector for predictive maintenance on edge devices.
As a tech lead, I successfully developed and prototyped Paging-Gateway-400, enabling intercom messages on BARIX devices.
Additionally, I conducted research on noise detection and sound quality estimation using ML models. Furthermore, I collaborated with an AI startup, contributing my expertise during a six-month sabbatical.
Junior Machine Learning Engineer
Visium SA, Zurich
Feb 2020 - Aug 2020
VISIUM is an AI consultancy startup with an aim to democratize AI and ML technologies.
In my role, I developed a time series forecasting model for inventory management, delivering valuable insights to the client.
Additionally, I deployed ML models as APIs and optimized training pipelines on GCP, ensuring efficient and scalable operations.
Furthermore, I complied aligned trilingual data, leveraging a shallow neural network empowered by human feedback, for training a language translation model.
Application Engineer
Oracle , India
May 2018 - Aug 2018
My tenure as an Application Engineer in the Responsys team, provided me valuable insights into the processes and software development pipeline within a major tech enterprise..
Research Assistant
TU Munich
May 2017 - Jul 2017
During the semester break, I gained valuable experience in a research environment, where I worked with protocols and procedures. Additionally, I developed a user-friendly GUI using QT for a C++ toolkit developed by HC S Lab.
